The very first song in Epic is The Horse and the Infant, the story begins with Odysseus commanding his army into Troy usingthe famed wooden Horse. During this he is given a vision of him being stabbed by Zeus, King of the Gods. To avoid this from happening Zeus gave him a task of killing an opponent whom he has never faced before and must kill him....a baby boy.
Just a Man is the most famous song in the Troy saga, with Odysseus contimplaiting what to do with the child he is tasked to kill. He was told by Zeus to kill this child before he is to grow and become too dangerous and if Odysseus wishes to protect his wife and son, must choose to have the blood of his family on his hands or the blood of a child.
Full Speed Ahead takes place after Odysseus interacts with the child, Odysseus and his army finally sail home. During their travels they have run short on food and must make a stop for food. During This Polities notices a light on a nearby Island and suggests that they go see what it is, little did they know their whole journey was about to take a turn for the worst.
Polities and Odysseus travel to the Island and Polities notices his friend is very tense. Polities calms him down by saying instead of greating the world with a sword and anger, greet the world with peace and open arms. On their journey through the Island, the men encounter the lotus eaters to which Polities asks them politly for food and they point the two in the direction of a cave that has plenty of food. Polities reminds Odysseus that you must open your arms and your heart to the world and it will be a more peaceful place.
The last song of the Troy Saga is Warrior of the Mind where Odysseus encounters his mentor, Athena: Goddess of Wisdom. She reminds Odysseus of how they met, and how she taught him to be a warrior of the mind and to not go soft or open your heart to anyone and she warns him that he will be tested and that he must not disappoint her in becoming something he is not.
